On Wednesday 30th March we held our annual ‘Spring Breeze’ at Brindishe Green. The Spring Breeze is an opportunity to showcase all of the talent we have in our school and the show this year certainly didn’t disappoint.

Children from Reception all the way up to Year 6 auditioned at the beginning of term for a coveted place in the line-up. Our producers were spoilt for choice, with many children offering to show us their talents. Once the performers were chosen, intensive rehearsals began and the children worked very hard to make sure their performance was ready in time.

Finally, the night of the performance arrived. Lots of excited children arrived at the school to do last minute rehearsals and costume changes. The audience then arrived, excited and eager to get started. The first half of the show featured poetry, singing, recorder playing, karate and closed with our fantastic choir, who sang beautifully.

The second half of the show opened in spectacular style with our resident gymnasts. The audience were thrilled with an impressive array of back flips and cartwheels. Our Community Choir also dazzled with their wonderful harmonies. Other talents on show included piano playing, singing, guitar playing and much more! The evening finished with a great dance performance by one of our Year 4 classes who recently performed at the Broadway Theatre in Catford.

What a night! Fantastic performances all round and a really enthusiastic audience. Well done to all of the performers who were so professional. Thanks also to the many members of staff who gave their time so willingly to contribute to the organisation of the evening. We are already excited about next year!
