Dear parents, carers, staff, governors and friends,

What a lovely day we have had ending this first half of the Summer term!
It has been a jam-packed half term with lots of classes welcoming visitors in to school and many classes also going out of school for a visit. This week I was lucky enough to accompany Year 6 on their theatre visit to see the production of Wicked in Central London. It reminded me how important it is for the children to get out and see what is happening beyond the school and their local community; they had a great time!
I know we have much more planned for next half term too, including being able to share end of year reports with you in July and for you to receive your children’s learning journey throughout the year.

Today we celebrated the Queens Jubilee by all meeting in the playground for a giant picnic. The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the sunshine came
out for us too! We hope you also joined us at the end of the day for a sweet treat
 at the PSFA cake sale.

We really hope that all of our families have a wonderful half term break and enjoy
some much needed sunshine and time together.

We are looking forward to seeing all the children back in school on Tuesday 7th June 2022 at 8:50am.

Thank you.

Wishing you all a restful weekend,

Kate Porter and the Brindishe Manor team
