SENIOR MIDDAY SUPERVISOR

Salary: Scale 5 (Point 13 – 15) pro-rata
Hours: 17.5hours per week (typically starting at 11.00am- 2.30pm)
Term Time Only (39 weeks per year)
The post is part-time and subject to a satisfactory 6 months’ probation period
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Midday Supervisor in Brindishe Green school on a permanent basis The role will start in January 2022
Brindishe Green is a 3 form entry Lewisham Local Authority Primary School providing an exciting education for children aged 3 -11 years, we are a few stops from Charing Cross, Waterloo, London Bridge mainline station or a short walk from Lee or Lewisham station. Brindishe Green is one of 3 schools in the Brindishe federation and works closely with Brindishe Manor and Brindishe Lee

The post involves:
- Working as part of a team of adults including teachers and other support staff to promote the learning and well-being of all pupils.
- To take overall responsibility for the supervision, health and safety and control of pupils during the midday break
- To deploy a team of midday supervisors to ensure effective cover both in the dining area and the play area.
As the role involves working with children, you will be required to undergo a full DBS check before being appointed to the post.
